Jan and Sue were members of the group ‘Oadby – Remembering the Past,’ a five-year project researching Oadby during the First World War.

Prior to 2014, no published research had been carried out into the 73 names commemorated on the Oadby war memorial. This talk will look at how biographies of the servicemen, many of whom did not have a service record, were created using a range of resources.
