We have all heard the phrase “What did the Romans do for us?” The same could be asked about the Victorian era and Helen will be exploring some answers to that question. The subjects will be wide-ranging and, in some cases, thought-provoking. But it all goes towards placing our Victorian ancestors in the context of the world in which they lived.
