The Society has transcribed a large number of baptisms, marriages, burials, cemetery information and other records across Leicestershire and Rutland over the years. Leicestershire and Rutland parish records have now been digitalised by Findmypast (FMP). Coverage is high, but is not complete – so, it is always best to check the FMP record sets and parish record coverage to see what’s available.

LRFHS transcriptions are all available by download or memory stick/CD via our Shop. It can sometimes help, especially when there might have been transcription errors, to group family members or to research names from a particular village, etc. Prices start from as little as £2, with an additional charge for postage if ordering a CD or memory stick.

Further information can be obtained by clicking on the relevant CD cover via the Shop.
